Advantage Utilities is looking to recruit knowledgeable and enthusiastic skilled technician with Project Genesis experience to add to our rapidly growing company. Currently serving Morgan, PA.

Pay Structure:

Competitive salary: Depending on experience

· Overtime available

· Medical/Dental/Vision/Supplemental – Eligible after 90 days of employment

· 401k up to 3.5% match - Eligible after 6 months

Requirements:

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

  • Possess a valid Driver’s License (No DUI)

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

  • Work independently for extended periods of time.

  • Must be able to work occasional night shifts.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on job sites.

General Duties but not limited to:

  • Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs

  • Bucket Truck experience. Comfortable with driving large rigs and comfortable in situations involving heights.

  • Installs, removes, rearranges, tests, troubleshoots, and maintains fiber network services.

  • Must possess the ability to perceive differences in colors and possess the ability to distinguish audible tones/levels.

  • Complete and maintain electronic records of work completed on various assignments. Including, but not limited to, splice diagrams, patch panels, and test results.

  • Label and tag all equipment and cabling according to Network Engineering Diagrams

  • Document work activities, including splicing records and test results

  • Splicing on new construction and restoration for various cable types (Loose Tube, Ribbon, etc.).

  • Active splicing on cables with both dark fiber and lit services.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fiber optic connectivity
